Um, hi. I am still trying to come to terms with journaling services and how I'm going to use them.

If you're going to be using InsaneJournal as your primary site, could you please leave me a comment here? And please tell me if you are not crossposting to LJ, and/or if you are not reading your LJ flist.

If you have me friended here but not on LJ, be aware that at this point I am almost certainly going to continue using LJ as my primary service, because I have a permanent account and most of the infrastructure in my primary fandoms is staying. I may or may not post here in the future. But, um, please say hi!

I'll post links on LJ to my fics and/or tutorials, but that'll be all. I'm reading my LJ flist, though.

I am using IJ as my primary blog. However, since I have many non-fan friends who have no reason to leave LJ, I have an ex-IJ filter there, which I do read. As soon as I notice someone on that filter has opened a blog here, I take them off the LJ filter, so I'll be able to get through two flists without too much time wasted on doubled-up posts.

IJ is my main site, now - all my fic will be posted here, with links from LJ. I'm still cross-posting all of my haiku posts every day, though, and I'll be reading my LJ flist.

IJ is going to be my main journal, I think, but I also have a permanent account on LJ and certain people and communities I don't want to leave behind, so I'll keep a reading filter there.

I'm not going to be posting everything on LJ though, especially since even linking to something they find objectionable has been confirmed as a potentially bannable act. Will they really pay attention to links? Probably not, but...still.

Hello!

IJ's definitely my main journal and I don't plan on cross posting to LJ. Reading my flist there, sure, but not posting.

Isis, I am:

1) X-posting to LJ and IJ, except when/if I decide to post anything related to underage fanart and perhaps fanfic. IJ is my main journal now, in the sense that it's the only journal where I will post everything;
2) I will keep reading my f-list on both LJ and IJ. I'm asking those who are x-posting to leave me a comment saying if I can remove them from my LJ reading filter. But if you post different content on each journal, I'll read you on both journals.

*sighs*

*what a mess*

Hmm. I am inclined to read you at LJ, because I'm generally more interested in your non-fandom stuff! Plus, I'd like to insure you can read my locked posts.

I'm not crossposting at the moment, and don't plan to. I may post different content on GJ, but that's because it's the emergency backup place for when other journals are down. IJ and JF will probably be mostly reading journals.

OK. I'm not planning posting any underage fics any soon. If you read me on LJ, you will only lose eventual fanart recs, I believe.

I'll read you on LJ, then. I'm keeping my GJ as a back-up, too, but I'm not reading there.

Hi there! IJ is my primary journal now, although I am still crossposting to LJ for the time being. I'm not sure how much longer I'll be doing that, though. :/

IJ is my primary, but I'm still checking my LJ flist because a lot of folks aren't leaving. Seems like everyone wants to forget SA/LJ made promises and went all mea culpa after Strikethrough, too, then waited a couple months and broke all their promises. :-P

Hiya!

IJ is now my primary journal. I'll be crossposting to LJ until my paid time expires, except fic posts on LJ will only be a link to content here. I'm continuing to read my LJ flist.

I'm posting both here and at JF, and cross-posting (mostly) to LJ. I'm currently reading all four flists (JF, IJ, GJ, LJ). At some point I'm going to pare that down by making some feeds and such, and at some point I'll stop posting at LJ, but I'll make a post explaining what I'm doing and cross-post that everywhere when I cross that bridge.

Thanks for your reply! Do you have a preference between IJ and JF, as far as where your primary journal and flist will be? (Yet?)

Nope... I'm planning on posting to both and reading both flists for a while. I don't want to have a single point of failure anywhere in my fannish infrastructure by the time I'm done transitioning, though.

I'm cross-posting everything on LJ, IJ, and GJ. I check my f-lists on both LJ and and IJ though not GJ (it seems to be dying a bit, like LJ). So, I guess LJ and IJ are going to both be primary, lol; depending on how I can handle checking both journals during this semester.~Sophia

LJ will be for RL stuff mainly. Fandom and RL will be on IJ. I'm reading both lists, but I've filtered out LJ for everyone friended on IJ except those who let me know they're still mainly posting on LiveJ.

That was a bit confusing, even for me.
